February was a busy month for Delta Millworks as we geared up to participate in our first-ever International Builders Show, presented by the National Association of Home Builders. From February 24th to 29th, the team spent the week at the Las Vegas Convention Center presenting Delta’s staple products, available in a several new finishes.
Throughout the week, more than 76,000 builders, remodelers, developers and other home building professionals filled the exhibit halls. Representing more than 100 countries, this record attendance was the highest level since 2009, reflecting the current momentum of the residential construction industry.
Leaders from across the building industry passed through the Delta Millworks booth to learn about the latest in sustainable wood cladding. Through conversations and demonstrations of our wood interior, exterior, decking, siding, ceiling, and soffit products, we made many great connections with a far-reaching group of architects, designers, contractors, and more.
Thanks to the record turnout of participants and exhibitors, IBS was a dynamic and fruitful week for the Delta team. We enjoyed the opportunity to share our great products with an international audience and fellow products manufacturers. A special thanks to our friends at Lunawood, Accoya, Sierra Forest Products, and Joel Ahlum from New West Builders for sharing your networks with us throughout the week, both in the booth and out on the town.
Since October, we worked with our friends at Pollen Architecture on the booth design that smartly displayed our wide offering of cladding, siding, and decking products. For those of you who missed it in Las Vegas, our booth will soon be reconstructed at our mill in Austin so visitors are able to enjoy its state-of-the-art design before it heads off to the next event.
