Two Gables

The design brief for this twin-gabled home in Glencoe, Illinois was to create a light-filled, contemporary space using as few materials as possible that cohered to a warm gray palette to set the stage for furnishings and art curated by the owner. 

The architects opted to clad the two barn-like wings entirely in Accoya | Smooth | Coastline, creating a calm and cohesive exterior appearance.
