Designed for two language scholars and their children, The Translators’ House brings together a thoughtfully considered palette of materials into an expertly crafted home with a robust program on a tight site.

The exterior material of the house is a wood rainscreen with our Accoya | SSB | Gator. The charred surface provides protection from moisture and sun damage and inhibits insects.
