2025 was a year defined by momentum, creativity, and meaningful growth at Delta Millworks. From milestone celebrations at home to inspiring experiences across the country and around the world, this year reminded us exactly why we love the work we do. It was a year filled with connection between craft and collaboration, between past and future. As we look back, we’re excited to share the moments that shaped 2025 for our team, our partners, and the communities we serve. These are the stories that left an imprint on us and the ones that inspire what comes next.

Celebrating a 40-Year Legacy
This year marked an incredible milestone: 40 years of Delta Millworks. Four decades of craftsmanship, experimentation, partnership, and evolution were guided by the people who believe in what we do.
To honor the moment, we gathered at our Austin mill for a celebration that brought together longtime collaborators, architects, designers, builders, and the people who have supported us along the way. Guests explored our workspace, watched demonstrations of our signature techniques, and listened in on panels that revisited Delta’s history. Hearing our partners share stories from some of today’s most ambitious work was both grounding and energizing.

At the end of the event we officially unveiled our next chapter, our new facility. We broke ground on our new Wimberley facility in September, a project made possible through the vision and expertise of Pollen Architecture and Blackland Collaborative. This mill represents a major step forward. It has been designed to expand our production abilities, support advanced machinery, and create more room for design innovation. It is a space meant for durability, experimentation, and growth. A home for our future that carries forward everything we value about our past.

Experiencing Delta Everywhere
One of the highlights of 2025 was seeing our wood out in the world. From the landscapes of Utah to cities across the country, visiting completed projects allowed us to see our materials in context, weathering beautifully and performing exactly as intended.

These visits were also opportunities to connect with builders, designers, and clients, dig deeper into product education, and understand how our materials support the stories each project is telling. Each stop reminded us of the impact that durable and intentionally crafted wood can have within a space.

Our Local Footprint
Community remains at the heart of what we do. This year we spent time at Community First Village helping transform and uplift outdoor spaces that support individuals transitioning out of homelessness, creating environments that feel intentional and cared for.

We also continued our partnership with TreeFolks, taking part in sustainability efforts that protect and expand the local urban canopy. Volunteering at the nursery allowed us to support the long term health of the place we call home.

These moments reminded us that our work extends far beyond the mill. Wood shapes environments, but the way we show up for our community shapes lives.

Exploring the Future of the Craft
Growth begins with curiosity, and this year we committed to learning from some of the most forward thinking gatherings in the industry. We attended LIGNA 2025, the CRAN Symposium, the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design, and Build Show Live, each offering new ideas, meaningful conversations, and insights into where the industry is heading.

These experiences broadened our perspective and shaped how we think about collaboration, innovation, and the future of our work. As we absorbed new approaches and emerging technologies, we found inspiration that will guide the way we continue to evolve our craft.

What People Were Talking About
This year Delta Millworks appeared in several publications that highlighted the stories behind our projects, our approach to woodworking, and our role within the industry. Having our work recognized on these platforms was both humbling and motivating.
Each feature encouraged us to keep pushing forward, to continue refining our processes, experimenting with new techniques, and supporting partners who trust us with their most ambitious ideas. Seeing our craft spark conversation reaffirmed our belief in doing meaningful and enduring work.

The Next Chapter Begins
As we look toward 2026, our excitement only grows. Our new mill is taking shape, bringing expanded capabilities and more space for ideas to develop. More projects, more collaborations, and more opportunities to push the boundaries of what wood can do. We are grateful to every person who was part of our story this year and we cannot wait to build on that momentum. Here is to creating, exploring, and growing together in 2026.
