Carefully integrated into a Chicago streetscape, this standalone home balances privacy and openness through its strategic use of exterior cladding.

With dual-colored Slate and Burned & Brushed Accoya woods, the elongated exterior reflects the organization of the interior spaces and creates a striking facade that coheres with the surrounding local vernacular. Inside, French White Oak is used throughout the public and private areas of the house to provide a warm and inviting complement to the minimalist exterior.
